“The Hunger Games” World Premiere

“The Hunger Games” hits theaters March 23. The world premiere of “The Hunger Games,” will be held in downtown Los Angeles Monday night. The film “The Hunger Games” is the Lionsgate’s adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ bestselling novel of the same name.
The movie will open to the general public in more than 3,000 theaters on March 23. Young women report overwhelming interest in seeing the movie. NRG says that 74 percent of young women say they have “definite” interest in seeing it, and 45 percent say it is their “first choice.”
The PG-13 movie stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Wes Bentley, Lenny Kravitz and Donald Sutherland.

2012 Oscar Winners: The Artist topped the Oscar Winners list of the 84th Annual Academy Awards for the year 2012. “The Artist,” won five Academy Awards, including best picture. The film also took home Oscars for best directing for Michel Hazanavicius, the lead actor award for Jean Dujardin and trophies for costume design and score.
Meryl Streep, 62, won the Best Actress Oscar for portraying Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady.” “Oh, come on,” Streep said of the standing ovation she received. “When they called my name, I had this feeling I could hear half of America say, ‘Oh, no, not her again,’ ” Streep said. “But whatever.” May expected that this award may go to Viola Davis from “The Help.” But “The Help” won an Oscar in the name of Octavia Spencer as the best supporting actress.

“Fright Night” is an action comedy than a straight-out horror film. Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) is a nerd who has joined the cool crowd recently by dropping his oldest friend “Evil” Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) for a hot cheerleader girlfriend (Imogen Poots). Jerry Dandrige (Colin Farrell) is a single man, handsome and charming, who lives next door to the Brewsters to which charley’s mom (Toni Collette) takes a liking to. Charley’s friend Ed notices that students are going missing from their classroom and begins to suspect Jerry may be a vampire. Ed’s attempts to convince Charley that Jerry is actually a vampire fail, but when Ed himself goes missing. Emma Watson got all emotional and broke down to tears at the world premiere of The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.This has been the official farewell to the Harry Potter franchise creating emotional moments to the author J.K. Rowling also.
Thousands of fans had camped out in the rain for prime spots at the massive event in the capital’s Trafalgar Square. Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint and Potter creator J.K. Rowling meet fans, signed autographs and posed for photographs on the red carpet and after that both Watson and Rowling were overcome with emotion. Producer David Heyman comforted Miss Watson, who planted a kiss on her forehead as she cried on his arm.
