Droid Bionic is one of the most anticipated Android handset whose release is confirmed on 8th September after so many delays Droid Bionic was officially announced back in January during the CES event along with the Motorola Atrix. We have heard a lot about it in the last few months and now Motorola has revealed that this smart phone is going to be released on September 8.

Then Motorola decided to redesign it and we saw the new version which is really good looking. Motorola Droid Bionic is going to be the first 4G LTE dual-core smartphone coming from Motorola. The processor was upgraded to a new one and the software was updated from Froyo to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the latest of Google Andorid breed.

Verizon also has a host of other 4G LTE smartphones such as HTC Thunderbolt, Samsung Droid Charge and LG Revolution. But all these devices run on single-core processors, giving edge for Droid Bionic.

Motorola Droid Bionic is also a threat for Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Sensation 4G and the not-yet-announced Apple iPhone 5. Tech specs and features of Droid Bionic have enough capability to compete with those high-end products in the market.
