Sony Ericsson delayed the launch of Yendo walkman Smartphones to Feb 2011. Earlier Sony announced that Yendo will be available globally by Nov, 2010. But because of some unspecified issues with software Sony postponed the release. The Yendo from Sony Ericsson, popularly referred to as Sony Walkman phone, tries to primarily focus on being a music phone along with a host of other features.

The Sony Ericsson “Walkman” Yendo phone is slated to be the first full-touchscreen Walkman phone from Sony. With a 2.6-inch 240×320 capacitive touchscreen display, the Sony Walkman Yendo phone runs on a proprietary OS but has a similar interface like the Xperia X10 mini. The Sony Walkman Yendo is a basic phone with a 2MP camera, it doesn’t come with GPS, 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity, but the Sony Walkman Yendo has Bluetooth support.

The all-new Sony Ericsson Yendo will redefine the use of smartphones with its exclusive multimedia features. The price of Yendo is not yet announced. The price and launch in Indian market is not yet available.
