US Open semi-final: World No.1 Novak Djokovic beats swiss star Roger Federer by saving two match points and got to win semi-finals in New York.
Federer had won two sets before Djokovic roared back to win 6-7, (7-9), 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 7-5. Federer seemed in complete charge when he broke Djokovic at love to go up 5-3 in the final set. Federer went up 40-15 with double match point
Djokovic, the Australian Open and Wimbledon champion, has now taken his 2011 record to 63 wins against just two defeats, and stands one win from a fourth Grand Slam title.

Wimbledon 2011: Roger Federer has lost in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. The former world number one and now the third seed was chasing Pete Sampras’s record of seven Wimbledon titles but lost in the quarterfinals. This is the 2nd time Federer leaving Wimbledon tournament in quarter finals. This is first time that Federer ever blown a two-set lead in a Grand Slam.
Federer turns 30 in August and only two men in the last 36 years Petr Korda at the 1998 Australian Open and Andre Agassi at the 2003 Australian Open have won a Grand Slam title after reaching that milestone.
