Nelson Mandela recovered and discharged from Hospital

Nelson Mandela recovered and discharged: Madiba all in good health! The 92-year-old former African President Nelson Mandela spent two nights at the Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, reportedly suffering from respiratory difficulties.
Mandela’s nephew Lubabalo Sigonya, 37, said: “We are all very concerned right now. Anything could happen at his age. We pray for the best though because he has done so much for us.”
Close relative Nozolile Mtirara, 90, whose late husband grew up with Mandela claimed that Mandela was not in a critical condition and that he only had a problem with his legs. More >

India vs South Africa 2nd ODI: India won by 1 Run. SA had the game in the bag and they …. choked. India won the toss and elected to bat first. India lost its first wicket M Vijay (16) early in the eighth over. The score was 22. Sachin Tendulkar (24) and Virat Kohli (22) then added 41-runs for the second wicket partnership. Kohli was unfortunate to get run out. Yufraj singh and dhoni made good partnership of 83 but after that India lost all wicket so quickly and gave a very simple target of 190 runs to South Africa.
South Africa didn’t have good start and lost the wicket of Hashim Amla on the total score of 7. Munaf Patel brought him back to pavilion. Graem Smith and Colin Ingram (25) contributed 59-runs for the second wicket. Harbhajan made Ingram to depart and got him lbw. AB de Villiers and JP Duminy couldn’t do much and made just 8 and 13 runs respectively. But then with David Miller (27), Graeme Smith before getting bowled on the ball of Munaf added some precious runs for his team. He played a well innings of 77 runs.

India Vs South Africa: India won 2nd test match against South Africa by beating south Africa by 87 runs on 4th day of the 2nd test match. South Africa won the toss and Graeme Smith invited Indian team to bat first.Every body thought that by losing toss Mahender Singh Dhoni had lost second test match also thereby losing the series also. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, the cricket God of India scored his 50th test century against South Africa. Graeme Smith congratulated Tendulkar. Smith said scoring under pressure is a feather in Tendulkar’s cap, “The guy has scored 50 Test hundreds so it’s a bit hard to rate this one. He’s scored a few hundreds before I can even remember. Under pressure, being able to score runs is a feather in his cap. I was a bit surprised that he made life for us so easy this morning. I think MS needs credit for the partnership as well… If he didn’t hang around, Sachin wouldn’t have got his 50th. Lakshmi Mittal, the renowned Indian steel magnet remains the richest business tycoon in South Africa for the sixth consecutive year.
Mittal is on the tops the 100 wealthiest businessmen in South Africa released by the weekly ‘Sunday Times’, even though he is not living in South Africa.
Mittal’s listed holdings of R 21.5 billion ($3.4 billion). Mittal first provided technical assistance to turn the ailing Iscor around before buying it out in 2001 as he expanded his global steel empire.
The ‘Rich List’ is based on an analysis of holdings of all companies listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange, thus being only the South African portion of Mittal’s wealth, as he has huge interests worldwide. More >
