ISRO successfully launched Chandrayaan-2

Once again ISRO- Indian Space Research Organisation made the nation proud by successfully launching Chandrayaan-2 , the 2nd moon mission. Lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2, which means “moon vehicle” in Sanskrit, took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh state at 2:43 p.m., Monday 22nd July 2019.
This lunar mission’s objective is to launch a rover on the south pole of the moon for exploration. NASA and global media congratulated ISRO on the successful launch of Chandrayaan-2 and tweeted that they are looking forward to the findings of India in Lunar south pole. Major US and British news outlets such as The Newyork Times, The Guardian, BBC reported this event extensively. Even our neighbours China and Pakistan’s media and TV network covered the event closely.
This is a complex mission and was supposed to launch on 15th July 2019, but got delayed due to a technical snag. ISRO More >

UPI fraud: The latest tricks

UPI – Unified Payments interface, now is a must every smartphone. Why? Because they are making our lives easy. The financial transactions are made easy with these apps. But recently people are being scammed using the “Request Pay” function of the app. According to the Livemint reports the UPI-based payment apps and classifieds portals are seeing rising frauds. Fraudsters often misuse UPI’s “request money” feature to prompt the victim to enter the PIN, which authorises a transaction.

Prisma for Android is now available to download

Finally Prisma is out of beta and available for Android download from Play store. This much hyped Photo App will turn your photo into a painting using AI (artificial Intelligence) to make your photos look like drawn painting. Galaxy Nexus from Samsung with Google Android OS

Samsung unveiled the first smart phone ‘Galaxy Nexus’ running on Google’s latest version of the Android operating system. Samsung and Google introduced the high-end model at an event in Hong Kong, after delaying the launch last week as a tribute to the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Apple is Samsung’s biggest customer for microprocessors.
The Galaxy Nexus will be the first phone to have the new Android 4.0 operating system with a 4.65-inch high-definition “super” AM-OLED display and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and features such new functions as face recognition to unlock the phone.
The Galaxy Nexus enables you to voice type. It has an in-line spell checker and talk to text where the user can type anything by speaking. Blackberry problems continued for day 3 and Spread to US

RIM,the makers of BlackBerry smartphone are working frantically to end a three-day global service disruption as the issue continued for the third day and now people of US have found the similar problems with their Blackberry smartphone.
Blackberry’s owner, RIM, blamed the latest outages on a backlog of emails to Europe from Asia and the Americas.
“It is a backlog issue,” RIM software vice president David Yach says.
“Clearly we have a backlog in Europe… as you can imagine, with the global reach of Blackberry and people using it to contact others around the world, there’s a lot of messages to Europe from Asia and the Americas.

Amazon launched Kindle fire Tablet for $199

Amazon’s Kindle fire tablet launched for $199 after much waiting. The kindle fire costs $199 and will run on modified version of Google’s Androd operating system which may prove as the latest and biggest challenger to Apple Inc.’s dominant iPad.
