An Earthquake of that measured 7.8 magnitude on rector scale struct Nepal on Saturday 25th April 2015 at 11.41 Am local time. More that 1500 people are declared dead by local authorities. The epicenter of the quake is with in 50 miles radius of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. Streets and squares in the nation’s capital and largest city were covered in rubble with homes, building and historical temples collapsed. There were also victims in India majorly in West Bengal and Bihar states, Bangladesh, Tibet and on Mount Everest, where avalanches were triggered.

At least 13 bodies have been evacuated from Everest base camp on Saturday. The Indian Army’s Everest Expedition evacuated the bodies of the foreign mountaineers who were preparing for the summit. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a military transport plane with three tonnes of supplies and a 40-strong disaster response team to Nepal. Officials said three more planes would follow, carrying a mobile hospital and further relief teams.
