Who will be Bigg Boss season 5 winner?? The BB house may be the most infamous house in India with its contestants and their dirty pasts, but this house is the most popular house too. Bigg Boss is the reality show with controversial contests trying to co-existing in a house detached from any type of communication from outside world. The show’s fifth season is on the run currently and is only 3 weeks far from its finale.
It need no introduction for the dedicated viewers. Some call this show a lunatic attempt to exploit human emotions but i think otherwise. I like to watch this show and analyze the human behavior under a restricted environment. Its like an experiment on human behavior and viewers response to the events is kind of amazing.
In my opinion none of the contestants are totally genuine or totally fake. But one thing I observed is… no one will be able to pretend for a long time. We will definitely see their true nature. I don’t want to be judgmental about anyone but want to give my opinion on contestants. I know none of the contestant personally and all I know about them is from media only.
With no offense to any body the first person I would come up with is Pooja Bedi. When she entered the house I liked her behavior, her ability to stand for the right things. But with the entry of Sky the equation and my opinion both changed. She favored him completely started supporting his loud behavior. ‘Kolaveri Di’ just won the YouTube Gold award makes it to Time Magazine, a perfect example of emerging Viral Marketing

Kolaveri Di’ has become a sleeper blockbuster by crossing 10,559,994 hits since its release on Nov 16 on youtube.com. Tamil actor Dhanush penned and sung himself this funny song which has been composed by 18-year-old debutant music director Anirudh Ravichander which will be a part of Dhanush’s next film ’3′, which is being directed by his wife Aishwayra. The film also stars Shruthi Haasan.
The song created such a craze from children to youngsters to celebrities. Kolaveri has just won the YouTube Gold award, which is presented to viral videos from across the world. Anirudh says, “It is true. The record label has received official intimation. I don’t know if they will have a function to present the award but yes, Kolaveri has been chosen for the award.”

Andrew Symonds entered Bigg Boss 5 with Pooja Mishra as his translator!

Andrew Symonds has entered the Bigg Boss House in Karjat. It is only a month to go for the finale of Bigg Boss 5 and we have the former Aussie cricketer, Andrew Symonds as the new wild card entry. The former Australian all-rounder is famous in India for spat with off-spinner Harbhajan Singh which is termed as the Monkeygate scandal. How does he intend to converse with the contestants, who are allowed to speak only in Hindi?
“I don’t know,” he laughs. Andrew and the viewers of BB5 are unaware that a surprise has been planned for him in the form of a translator. The surprise is non other than loud mouthed Pooja Mishra who has been ejected from the house for pushing co- contestant Siddharth and behaving violently.
“I am taking it as a challenge. It would be great to be in a show like this. To be honest, I have not seen any of the episodes of this season and will be meeting everyone for the first time. I didn’t want to enter with a biased opinion about others,” says Symonds.

Honda Motor to recall 72,115 City sedan cars in India

Japanese Honda Motor Co stated that they are to recall 72,115 of its City sedan cars from India inorder to replace a power window switch. This is Honda’s second recall since 2010. ”Honda Siel Cars India Ltd is carrying out the part replacement as part of a global exercise by Honda Motor Company to ensure stringent quality standards for its products,” a company statement said on Monday. The recall affects cars manufactured between 2005 and 2007. The company recalled 8,532 City cars in January last year that had been manufactured in 2007, it said in the statement. More >

Does Jan Lokpal Bill by our beloved Anna Hazare is really going to make any difference??

Indian politics and social issues are in an interesting process these days. The Jan Lokpal bill is proposed by Anna Hazare, who belongs to an NGO in Maharashtra, India. Anna Hazare is a well known activist and a recipient of Padma Bhushan Award in 1992. Through out his life the ex-militia fought for many social issues like prohibition of alcohol, removal of untouchability and development of grain bank, watershed program, milk production, education, conducted collective marriages and gram sabhas for the people.
With this type of back ground as the social activist Anna is the right person to lead a cause like anti corruption bill. People has no doubt of intentions and sincerity regarding Lokpal bill as in the early 2000s Anna Hazare led a movement in Maharashtra state which forced the state government to pass a stronger Maharashtra Right to Information Act. This Act was later considered as the base document for the Right to Information Act 2005 (RTI), enacted by the Union Government. It also ensured that the President of India assented to this new Act.
Now Anna is protesting for the approval of Jan Lokpal bill. Hazare initiated a Satyagraha movement for passing a stronger anti-corruption Lokpal (ombudsman) bill in the Indian Parliament as conceived in the Jan Lokpal Bill (People’s Ombudsman Bill).
The Jan Lokpal Bill was drafted earlier by N. Santosh Hegde, former justice of the Supreme Court of India and Lokayukta of Karnataka, Prashant Bhushan, a senior lawyer in the Supreme Court and Arvind Kejriwal, a social activist along with members of the India Against Corruption movement. Al Qaeda threat to Guruvayoor Sri Krishna and Sri Padmanabha Swamy temples in Kerala

Guruvayoor Circle Inspector got a letter threatening an attack on the Guruvayoor and Sree Padmanabha Swamy shrines. The letter was posted from Chennai to this pilgrim town Guruvayoor on Wednesday warned of a bomb attack by the Al Qaida on two of Kerala’s most popular temples police said. As soon as the letter arrived, police officials rushed to the famed Sree Krishna Temple in Guruvayoor along with a bomb squad and made a detailed inspection in the temple compound and also in the temple town. Bomb Blasts in Mumbai at Dader, Opera House and Zaveri Bazar!

Mumbai 13th July 2011: Four Bomb Blasts in Bombay on the locations of Zaveri Bazaar, Oepra house, and a taxi in Dadar. Reports are that over 100 Peole are injured so far. Five years before on 11th July 2006 a series of seven blasts happened in Mubai. A total of 200 people were killed and another 714 others have been injured in those blast done by using pressure cookers.
Police, ambulance, home guards and fire brigade were rushed to the spot. The incident happened at 7:10 pm on Wednesday. More >
