Superbug Gonorrhea Strain is discovered by Scientist which is Resistant to all Antibiotics. The term superbug refers to a bacterium that’s able to survive exposure to antibiotics because it genetically evolved to resist them.

Gonorrhea has become increasingly resistant to antibiotics for several years now, and the percentage of cephalosporin-resistant gonorrhea cases in the U.S. is on the rise, according to the CDC’s latest Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

The scientist of Swedish Reference Laboratory for Pathogenic Neisseria Magnus Unemo discovered the strain with colleagues from Japan in samples from Kyoto. He described it as both “alarming” and “predictable.”
