ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers Board of Directors has approved a plan to dramatically increase the number of Internet generic top-level domains (gTLDs) at its public meeting in Singapore. The vote took place on the first day of the ICANN Singapore meeting.
